Circuit Court

Circuit Court is a court of record. The Circuit Court Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining and accurately keeping all records of the Court. This includes:

• Misdemeanor and felony criminal cases and civil cases over $25,000
• Post-Convictions
• Condemnations
• Hospital Liens
• Garnishments
• Executions
• Restoration of Citizenship
• Foreign Judgments
• Keeping records on the criminal and civil jurors
• Filing a Grand Jury report and processes the paperwork for each defendant
• Preparing and transferring all records for cases on appeal to a higher court 
• Collecting, receipting and accounting for all fines, court cost and restitution

What is Safe at Home?

The Tennessee Secretary of State's Safe at Home program is an address confidentiality program for victims of domestic violence and other crimes. Safe at Home aims to protect the confidentiality of the participant's address on public records and provides an official substitute address.
